Now if it was reversed, they would say, Collins have a substantial lead.

Whereas Real Clear Polling had Platner up an average of 7.4 points across all polls in the last 3 monrhs. Last polling in May.

It's one thing I've learned from the GQP, if polling somewhat or even favor their party, they will post it and run with it 24/7 while corporate media backs them up.

Also notice how quiet corporate media is about Paxton and how quickly his divorce hearing was canceled, and the 24/7 coverage of Graham P.

13. I saw Platner on the Chris Hayes show

a few nights ago and I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, especially considering the source of the worst claim. We've seen this before.

I am still a bit disturbed by that tattoo, but all things considered, he appears to be a far better candidate for Maine than the very "concerned" Collins. It seems that Maine has had enough of her already.

Hopefully I am right in that I don't see a replay of Sinema or Fetterman.

I judge him on what I see now, and I see an excellent advocate for progressive values, unions, and working people. I think the chances of him turning into a Fetterman or Sinema are negligible.

If he wins, and I'm proven wrong, unless he changes his party affiliation to R, even a fetterman clone representing Maine as a Democrat puts us one senator closer to the majority. And having a Democratic Majority Leader setting the agenda is a big f-ing deal even if there are traitors within the caucus.

I dug pretty deep (for my incredibly modest means) and made a donation as a vote of confidence as his campaign weathers the storm.

Meanwhile, this is primarily Maine's decision and it feels like they're to unload that dead weight they have representing them now.

I know Dems hold their candidates to a higher standard than Repugs do, but even with Platner's faults, he's still the superior choice. And not voting at all is a vote for that Trump-sucking piece of shit Collins.

Pull out every dirty trick, every smear, every rumor (true or not) to not only defeat, bur utterly destroy this man. In other words, the powers that be, are terrified of the American public rising up, coming together and clearing the deck of the corruption all around us.

I don't live in Maine, so I don't get a vote. But if I did, I'd vote for this man and his vision in a heartbeat.

One small suggestion: stop reaching for the water unless you're going to drink. The nervous tic is distracting while the words are too important to miss. Shove that left paw into your pocket.

special interests. The "oligarchs" and billionaires dislike his policies because he campaigns on raising taxes on the superrich, enacting a "billionaire minimum tax", and breaking up corporate monopolies. His economic agenda threatens the financial advantages currently enjoyed by corporate elites.

The powerful are attacking him with everything they can make up.
