(4,178 posts)Let's say you take the low estimate of $114 million and inflation adjust about 3 percent per year that puts it at about $125 million minimum. 4% of that is a $5 million tax bill for mango. That would fund a lot of good services for the people of New York.

(2,711 posts)He grifts more than that every hour, of every day, etc, etc
And, if he doesn't have to worry about the IRS, think of the opportunities THAT
opens up........and the humongous bonus that gives him!!!!!! He won't have to pay all of his high priced tax accountants, and his high priced tax lawyers...........
Let it be known, that the wealthy and uber wealthy deeply resent that they have to hire and pay the expense of their tax accountants and tax lawyers.........They have always been proponents of the Flat Tax or Value Added Tax. Not only because it is an extremely regressive sales tax, but because they won't have to pay the tax accountants and tax lawyers.....
These wealthy and Uber Rich Oligarchs always point to other countries that have the VAT instead of income tax and that it works for them, why shouldn't we have the same tax base.......(Of course they neglect telling our taxpayers that those other countries use their VAT tax to fund FREE school and college, as well as Free health care for everyone, as well as many other public programs......)
