There’s been a lot of talk in this race about what makes a "real man."

A man does what’s right when no one is watching. He upholds his commitments to his family and neighbors. He doesn’t lie, cheat, & steal his way through life.

Real men serve others. Weak men serve themselves.

I'm pretty sure they doing and saying a lot of stuff they don't really believe in - let's put it this way: they're serving Trump, NOT America

Talarico should win, I wish I could vote for him. Come on Texans in the middle..independents and sane Republicans..easy choice here.

On a side note, why has there been so much talk about what makes a real man in a Senate race? Trump and MAGA have dragged this country into the gutter.

Talerico's masculinity--- since they can't fight him on the real issues....

Kinda makes you wonder what they would say about Jesus---
you know, the whole thing about stopping the crowd from stoning
the adulterous woman to death, with the line
'let he who is without sin cast the first stone' (paraphrased)

Some far right preachers have ALREADY said it, "JESUS was TOO 'WOKE' "

Paxton et al would have BEEN THERE, to cast that first and second and third stone---
especially against a woman!--- and against JESUS afterwards,
for being 'too woke' !

which circles back to another rule of my own, "REAL Men don't stone women to death"
and a long list of other rules which go along with that...

Everything I see and hear about James Talarico convinces me that he's going to win this and he'll be in the U.S. Senate next January. Come on Texas Democrats, please send Talarico to Washington!

If you can’t keep promises, no one will trust you. One commitment everyone should make is to be a straightforward and honest person. Throw in a bit of compassion and there is a good person.

but DAMN i will be praying come this november! please, please, oh please. i do believe he has a good chance to upset corrupt paxton. i can't believe some of the early attacks against him. are they really going after his faith? well, i guess i can't be surprised. if they are willing to believe trash trump over the pope. these people are hopeless.

We need more candidates like him and Buttigieg who will defend liberal views of masculinity and Christianity. We can't just cede that ground to Republicans.
