Can we please stop -- just for a little while -- using the word "iconic"?

How about: classic, legendary, renowned, quintessential? Used appropriately of course.

How do you like that? I made it up without a dictionary or search or AI.

And by the way, CTyankee is iconic, perhaps because of the American Revolution, or because of a famous book, "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court."

It's cultural, many are old if they're lucky, but it's not very emotive specifically, and the image is not specific.

But if you'd rather be known as old instead of that other word you don't want to hear, it's fine with me and I would bet most of DUers.
