Comedian John Oliver is joining the criticism of the 2026 America the Beautiful national park pass design, offering a new workaround for visitors who want to cover up an image of President Donald Trump.
On the latest episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the HBO host dragged Trump for a number of things hes added his name to in recent months, including the Kennedy Center, all U.S. currency, and the newest park pass launched at the start of the year with Trumps image next to George Washingtons.

The Trump-Washington design sparked backlash among some park visitors, many of whom began placing stickers over the image shortly after the design was live. But the U.S. Department of the Interior quickly reminded the public that stickers and other coverings could count as alterations, potentially voiding the pass under Void if Altered rules.
Since then, plastic sleeves for park passes that cover Trumps face with scenic landscapes have grown popular for protesting park visitors. And now, Oliver is joining the field with a free option for park pass holders.
(but you have to print and stick them)

It looks like passes will fit inside a luggage tag or fishing license holder, so you can put your sticker on them if you like.
I have the old style senior pass (bought when it was $10 for a lifetime pass) and a Veteran's ID, so I can't teat this new monstrosity.
A bit more subtle, a little graphic I concocted with the Trumpstein face on it. Feel free to copy and print/paste anywhere you like.
