1. If re-posting in a facebook group something a president said lands you in jail,

we're all in trouble.

Not every problem is the kind of nail that calls for the hammer of criminal punishment.

I do not believe that imprisonment by the government is the best solution for speech that, however repugnant, nonetheless does not constitute an incitement to immediate violence or otherwise violate traditional limitations on First Amendment rights.

Most objectionable speech is best simply ignored; intolerably repugnant speech might best be dealt with via social opprobrium, job loss if the speech was uttered while at work, civil lawsuits, or perhaps fines.
