I didn't find any data on who was asking the questions, but this got right under my skin. The questioner is leading a sheriff and trying to say that sheriffs are in the line of command under Krasnov. Sheriffs generally work for counties, and counties are regulated by states and have no connection to the executive branch. This is a clueless man questioning and uncertain sheriff. Correct me if I am mistaken, add clues if you have them, and feel free to name the jerk asking these questions. Feel free to silently scream like this made me do.

(15,381 posts)And - I'm not going to bother to watch this ...
But - it is a thing. And unfortunately a handful of right-winger nut jobs (and other conspiracy buffs and Posse Comitatus whacks) - and even more unfortunately, a smaller handful of actual LE (and sheriffs), have been actively buying in ... For a while. Exacerbated of course by the rise of the Patriot Front, Proud Boys, etc., etc.
Fairly easily looked up - if you're determined to dig down into their rabbit hole(s).

(2,714 posts)A sheriff has no authority outside his county unless the state gives him that right. A sheriff has no authority outside of his state. And the president has zero authority to give a county sheriff orders. Just like the president has zero authority to give you orders.

(9,898 posts)He is clearly one of those "constitutional Sheriff" nut cases. Did you not notice his uniform? That is the uniform of a cosplaying clown. Hell he didn't even know how many branches of government there are. A sheriff not knowing that? Now that's scary.
