Why would a junior Congressman HAVE TO go through SERE training? (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape...an MMA Plumber...?!?!?) This is how you get a liar, if it's classified, why is he making public statements about a secret "war" if it's classified?

(4,886 posts)TV show - Criminal Minds... Guy at the bar impressing the babes. Tells number one he is an FBI agent. She takes him over to meet numbers two and three. They are all giddy and impressed. Number two asks if he can show them his FBI badge. He implies 'no'. Number three says - 'classified huh?' He implies 'yes'...
Number two whips out her FBI badge and asks 'does it look like this?'
Number three does the same, 'or this'?
Number one, 'or this'?...
He kinda slinks away.

(4,886 posts)The Associated Press published a report last week exposing a congressional candidate in Ohio for misrepresenting his military record. JR Majewski, who presents himself as an Air Force combat veteran who deployed to Afghanistan after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, did no such thing, according to public records obtained by the AP.
They indicate Majewski never deployed to Afghanistan but instead completed a six-month stint helping to load planes at an air base in Qatar, a longtime US ally that is a safe distance from the fighting.
