"Governor Wes Moore and the First Lady of Maryland opened the People’s House to the monks of Walk for Peace USA: the first government residence in the nation to welcome them on their journey.
Maryland was not on the original route. After completing their walk to Washington, the monks chose Annapolis. The doors were open.
That matters.

The monks return home now. The mission does not.
