We haven't begun to see the reign of terror that the Miller Trump Facsist Syndicate has in store for America

Murdering American Citizens in Minneapolis, the armed robbery of Venezuelan oil from the people
of Venezuela, the covering up of the Epstein/Putin/Musk/Trump international child sex trafficking/black
mail/kidnapping/extortion/disinformation/kompramat gathering/bank fraud/murder/election rigging/
generationally long organized crime empire, tearing down the White House, openly racist, corrupt grifting,
and trying to hide Trump’s dementia ring. Is all here but it is going to get worse.

Trump and his Facsist Thugs are working on building thousands and thousands of prison cells for
people who as of yet haven’t been charged with any crime, been arrested, or even have a history of
criminal behavior, and yet they are building jail cells for them and some of us right now because not
only are they brown but they and we have committed the crimes of voting against Trump, speaking
out against the Putin-Trump agenda, and standing up for democracy.

********

Btw totally off topic but with all the snow melting and the rain wearing house slippers when taking
my Labrador for a walk probably wasn’t a good choice. A hot shower, coffee, and a change of clothes
is my next move.

Although cold wet water on your feet is both cold and wet but it lets you know
you are alive.

The list of hell and the lab walking in snow.
Great post. I wear goose down booties all over my yard with my lab and the chuck it ball. I beer known to walk in the snow in them as well. But they are water resistant. Rubber soles, rip stop outsides.

> 1/4 of an inch you are going to get wet. They work O.K. for a little bit when it cold enough the snow
is still frozen but we had about 15” of snow melting and it has been raining since 6 AM so some
the sidewalks has puddles of water that are > 2” deep.

But the bootie's and slippers have no grip so ass busting can happen with the solid snow. Been there too. But the labs gotta get out. And it’s a bitch to boot up with gaiters. And the excited lab wants to jump and play and knock ya down too. Then ya wallow around in the snow with em. And it is all fun as hell.

Happy Lab and snow time to you. Please send some snow to WNC. Climate is robbing my XC skiing on the Blue Ridge with lab number 7.

are right New Germany State Park in Western Maryland is heaven and even
without snow the cabins are great. No
TV, no cell phone service, and the cabins
have American Chestnut paneling that
is exquisite. And sometimes the quiet is
magical.

I passionately love XC. The only skiing I do. Been threatening to go somewhere to experience exactly what you describe for a long time. Recovering from Achilles surgery so this year is out. But I will definitely research your recommendation and out if too of my bucket. Thank you so much.
Castenea dentata.know it well. Taught Forest Management 30 years. What a magnificent species.

So much of its life cycle was dependent on the Chestnut for insects for their young and the fruits
to eat @ other times of the year. Thank you American Nursery Industry for importing the Chinese
Chestnut.

New Germany has some wicked hills to climb and or ski down along with some more flat land
skiing too. And the rest of the park is awesome with lots to see and do around the area too.
Just remember to bring your own fry pans. The pans provided in the cabins are brutal.

Planning is underway. You Rock.
There has been Decades of genetic work from multiple agencies working to bring the species back. Ironically using the Chinese species to find blight resistance.
So many of our forest species have been devastated by introduced Chinese species for commercial use.
Our Beloved Christmas tree, Abies fraseri is another. Hemlocks now. With climate changing we are gonna see much loss as species move with the warmer seasons.
I read last week the Botts Fly has been found in southern Texas. I pray the fly lays tons of its larva in Cruz, Paxton and Governor Wheely Wanker’s ass and face. Boils everywhere.
Hug a tree all ya can, while we can. Woke ass Forester here.
Thanks for the info, gonna make that dream come true.
Keep those feet dry. Let the lab lay across them as you sip on a warm drink. Cheers

The spiny seed pod can be a weapon. But the worst wood to split for firewood.
The splitting wedge will bounce back into you face.
Awesome color photo. I am blessed with colors here in the WNC mountains when conditions cooperate.
I love the forests. It is how I survive red hell Cawthorn Meadows territory. Stomping off trail with the lab de jour. It is hard to beat the sugar Mable colors north And east of here. We have quite a few but like y’all. But you are right, the Gum has multiple colors.

13. The humiliation of America by Donald J. Trump!
Sun Feb 15, 2026, 01:05 PM

Ali Velshi knocked it out of the park this morning. He compares everything going on in America to Turkmenistan's Saparmurat Niyazov, from his gold obsession to his need to place his name on everything. Niyazov even named the days of the week after himself and his family. America now has the Trump Class battleships, the F47 fighter jets, and the Trump Gold Card. When Niyazov finally died in 2006 at the age of 66, Turkmenistan removed every memory of him, and for this very reason Trump cannot allow the Democrats to ever take power again. Trump is replacing America with himself.

A Canadian company backed out of selling a huge warehouse to DHS in Virginia. A deal for a warehouse in Oklahoma City was cancelled after public outcry. A few more, even in Texas, are meeting with opposition and negotiations are stalled. Whether it's local opposition, wanting to be on the right side of history, and/or what's ultimately in their financial interest, this isn't the slam dunk many of us -- and no doubt the regime -- thought it would be. The public outcry is making an impact. There's also the "not in my backyard" effect, even in red states.
