'Later found dead': Dem lawmaker flags explosive Trump allegation in Epstein files

By Alexander Willis
Published February 13, 2026 7:08 AM ET

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) flagged an extraordinarily explosive allegation against President Donald Trump Thursday night, one uncovered in the Justice Department’s release of files on Jeffrey Epstein, and demanded the the DOJ take immediate action in interviewing witnesses.

“Dear [Attorney General Pam Bondi]: Since you creepily spied on the unredacted Epstein files I read, you know I read this one,” Lieu wrote Thursday in a social media post on X, referencing reports that Bondi and her agency appeared to be tracking lawmakers’ searches in its Epstein files database.

“Witness calls FBI’s [National Threat Operations Center] and reports girl, later found dead, told him Trump and Epstein raped her. DOJ NEVER INTERVIEWS WITNESS. When will DOJ interview this witness?”

Caligula be a better comparison? Caesar had some redeeming qualities, unlike the orange piece of garbage or Caligula, for that matter.

All of the congresspeople should post the most incriminating things they found in those files so that the DOJ can't scrub them.

It was not until October 6, 2025, when the Supreme Court declined to hear  Ghislaine Maxwell's appeal, that her 2022 conviction became final. So, it was not until the Trump administration that the file was no longer evidence in a pending criminal case.

As former U.S. attorney Joyce Vance told NPR: “DOJ historically has had a deal with Congress where Congress defers to DOJ when it has an ongoing criminal investigation and waits until the criminal investigation is concluded to engage in its oversight function. https://www.newsweek.com/biden-doj-release-jeffrey-epstein-files-11081415

And, unlike the Trump administration, the Biden administration did not interefere with or tell DOJ what to do, as Kamala Harris noted.

so i googled the info for you:

Epstein case was an open investigation under Biden
The Epstein case was an open criminal investigation during the Biden administration, Miami Herald investigative reporter Julie K. Brown explained on social media. Brown’s extensive reporting since 2017 has shone a light on the crimes of Epstein and his longtime accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell. Her book about Epstein, titled “Perversions of Justice,” is a New York Times bestseller.

Schumer calls for Senate to sue administration over Epstein files
“They had an open grand jury. … And even after Maxwell’s conviction, the case was on appeal — anyone in law enforcement knows you don’t open your case file when it’s still under appeal,” Brown added.

Victims were still going to the FBI with information during Biden’s term, but that changed when President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice reviewed the files and closed the case in July, Brown said.

22. Could this be the "Katie Johnson" case? ... we don't know her real name

But the woman who gave the pseudonym of "Katie Johnson" filed a complaint against Chump and Epstein, and said that she was raped at the age of 13 by Chump at a party at Epstein's mansion.

The lawsuit was started in 2016 while Chump was running for his first term, and it was abruptly dropped. We never heard anything more about this case. However the woman who used the name "Katie Johnson" has left New York (or disappeared completely) along with her entire family.

Chump and Epstein knew her real name, even though we've never been told. We already know that it was NEVER investigated by the feds, but we don't know why not. Do they know that she's already dead?

We have questions....
