Trump is going down. There will be no civil war.

Just a total Executive Branch collapse under the weight of Truth. Trump declared a war on truth, back in 2015, Truth will bury him.

A few times in court in NY he looked mad, he knew he had to win to beat all the crimes.

I have no idea how but I actually hope he cheated to win because if he didn't we have a major problem with our citizens.

Trump will die, Republicans will fracture, and there will a bizarre realignment along where power should be centralized.

which will cost us another election and more destruction.

we're in for a generational depression, maybe a dark age.

I thought we had crossed "the line" when Mango Mussolini disrespected the Kahn family, but there have many other lines since then.

There’s already signs things are starting to catch up with him. The country is rejecting, Maga values from coast to coast, and the rest of the world is essentially rejecting Maga values

SCOTUS gave him immunity
AG Bondi won't uphold the law
Trump is furiously working to circumvent the election
I worry we're in a precarious place.

Vance will be enabled by Republicans.
Republicans will pull his strings too.

In my opinion, Trump dying doesn't change much overall.
Republican power brokers and oligarchs are in control and working to tighten their grip on that control.

Everything you say is accurate, but I think what changes after Trump is enthusiasm of the base.
Fewer votes is fewer votes, even if the route doesn't involve people changing the way they vote.
Also, if dems to take control of the house later this year, Vance might not find the job all that attractive.
So, I'm less pessimistic about how much things will change when the felon is gone.

There's a hue and cry
Judge rules against Trump
Trump says "FU, judge!!"
Judge mumbles "contempt of court..."
Trump yells "Immunity!!! And I pardon everyone else. FU, judge!!"

The AG of the country is exposing victims and protecting rich pedophiles.
The President's private army ICE is murdering people and the FBI will not investigate nor allow others to investigate.
The President pardoned people who attacked the Capitol in an insurrection.
etc

Trump knows his support is eroding.
The house just passed a bill to try to thwart people from voting they don't want voting.
They're gerrymandering and doing everything they can to cling to power.

Expecting Trump to play nice under those circumstances with his track record seems naïve.
I think they'll double down and just get more ruthless.
When he breaks the law, who are you going to call? DoJ? FBI? Get a court order he'll defy?
No way the GOP will allow impeachment.
American democracy is on thin ice.
I'm worried.

I hope that by recognizing it folks, in a place with more power & authority than I, can figure out a way to avoid that outcome.
But I do not feel my concerns are unjustified.
We're in a precarious or dangerous place.
I do not think it is accidental. A bunch of this seems to have Republican planning behind it.
I wonder how much planning the Democrats could do for it because Trump et al are calling the shots.

Longer term, I do not think Americans will put up with it.
You can't take freedom away from people long term. after they have tested it.
But it could get violent or ugly before it gets better.
So I'm worried.
