General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsEveryone who can stomach it should read the EFTA01660651.pdf in the Epstein files. And then call their
representatives in Congress and demand that Rump be impeached and removed from office AND imprisoned for the rest of his miserable life, along with the other sex offenders in this and other documents.
Rump and all of the other pedophiles mentioned need to be held accountable for their actions.
This document is a compilation of complaints of salacious behavior involving underage females that was carried out by Rump, Epstein, and others. It is truly stomach turning, but it should be made public and I don't understand why the Dems in Congress did not bring it up during the Bondi hearing.
To find it, I went to this Justice Department's website:
https://www.justice.gov/epstein
You have to jump some hoops to prove you're human, then do a search for "Trump." Go to page 2. Look for the EFTA01660651.pdf. The summary text begins:
Victim 1 saw Donald Trump and wanted to meet him. A Trump unknown man approached her and offered to introduce her to Trump....trump would auction them
There is more in the summary, but I can't print it here, it's that bad. And that's just the summary.
If we could start a movement to get that one document to go viral, then maybe people who still somehow worship Rump will finally see what a sick, perverted monster he is.

(2,606 posts)overheard Rump talking and said that he wanted to pull Rump over and hurt him, due to the disgusting things he was saying.
I understand that this material is extremely salacious, but you'd think the MSM and the Dem Congressmen and women would be able to relate the incidents in a slightly sanitized way. They've handled news like this before with euphemisms, they should be able to do it again so that the public has a better idea of just how bad Rump et al.'s actions were.

(113,275 posts)as discussed in the OP, eg., Trump wanting to auction some of these girls... Or as discussed elsewhere the questions about missing girls at his New Mexico ranch and the ordering of an immense quantity of sulfuric acid. The average interested person (like myself, who just came off two back-to-back 15 hours ER shifts) is not going to be able to read it all or even keep up. That's why it is important that MSM try to dispel it into what is most important, put it in context where possible, and to assess the credibility of the most sensational. The first linked article from the NY Post is just one poo pooing the entire thing and essentially calling it all (as with Trump)--much ado about nothing.

(9,414 posts)For a few days a few weeks ago, I saw it referred to on almost every video I saw. Every single one of them talked about at least some of the allegations of Trump in the document. I know that thhey displayed it and talked about it on the View if you want an example of a mainstream platform with a massive audience.

(31,806 posts)Robin Leach. Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous Robin Leach.
OK... From around 1989 until 2010 I dated a woman who was a magazine and fashion model. Beautiful woman ( born in 1966 so not underage at the time I knew and dated her, way too old for Epstein ). I actually photographed her for her model portfolio, plus I photographed some of her runway shows. Completely as an amateur mind you, I had a day job working at NASA.
Anyway, sometime in 1994 or possibly 1995 she traveled to New York for some work. While there she and a group of other fashion models were invited by the magazine to go out to dinner with a group of older men... and my GF was paired with Robin Leach. Or should I say Robin Letch. While they were at dinned he kept trying to put his hand either between her legs or under her butt if she got up for any reason. Not wanting to make a scene with the magazine people that paid her a lot of money to fly to NY, do the shoot, stay at a very nice hotel, etc.. she just kept pushing his hand away... and do that thing that all women learn how to do to avoid a kiss on the lips ( the quick head turn to offer the cheek ) and to keep their distance, etc. At the end of the evening, Robin leaned over and whispered that she should use the rest room and not remove her panties and pee for him... and bring him the wet panties for him to take home ( since it was clear she wasn't going to allow him to do anything else ). He offered her $1000 to do this. As soon as she got back from NY ( in the next day or so ) she told me about this disgusting pig... and that she talked to other models on the photo shoot and they already knew about him and told her to "watch out for him".
Anyway, she thought it was funny what a creep he was. So I totally believe the parts of the Epstein files that talk about him... I don't think she would have made up such a story to tell me... and this was told to me within days of the dinner.
Ive heard similar stories about various people over the years. Each, a minimum of retch inducing.
The crux is, why would they make the stories up? Every time I heard one it was after quite the period of assessing if I could be trusted with the confidentiality and hesitation. But, they had the need to confide in someone.

(2,606 posts)but I feel like the MSM is sanitizing the actions of these perverts, out of either decorum, as if they have any, or to protect their wealthy higher-ups, or both. Plus, the fact that there are millions of documents to sort through makes it all so overwhelming. I thought highlighting this one horrific one might make a difference and show just how horrible these acts of abuse really were.

(52,841 posts)But the right wing (and their vast complicit media) will focus in on that one paragraph to dismiss the entire document. We've seen it happen over and over. I've listened to far too many right wing assholes to think this gets a rational response.
Of course, this assumes that they cover it at all. They currently have a great distraction in the Savanah Guthrie story.
Sorry, I'm a little jaded about the media in America.

(2,606 posts)to know "deemed not credible" by whom? The FBI agents who were assigned to follow up on these tips should be brought in for Congressional hearings to find out just how persistent they were in their investigations of these tips and why, after receiving so many tips, they didn't launch a large-scale investigation into Epstein, Rump, Maxwell, et al. And if they DID do a large-scale investigation, what there the results. Hell, this information is probably in the millions of documents, but finding the key information is going to be a huge challenge.
