How is he not being impeached?

He was voted in to be the president to all of Americans, and instead he is urging half the citizens to "go after" the other half. How can this not be impeachable? He's inciting a new civil war. I don't understand.

And this is a racist country. That's how.

That's how he won the first time. It's why he wasnt convicted for his impeachment. It's why he gets a pass in the press.

It's why most cops vote for him.

This is not surprising. He's scapegoating typically marginalized targets of bigotry.

That's why. It's what the people in control want.

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

...red state Texad troops imposed on a state that's supposed to be, whose resident expect through their democratic action, to be governed under Democratic party rule, to instead effect one party's, the opposition's political agenda IN THEIR STATE.

Totalitarianism at its most incendiary inception imaginable.

You’re watching everything that has happened since these fascists took control of the government and you’re puzzled by them not impeaching him?

I don’t mean to be rude but come on. They’re fascists. Real deal fascists. Do we really not understand this yet? They’re never going to impeach him. They’re never going to leave. We have to force them out. And with the apparent indifference most people have to all this, that’s not happening for a long time.

Forget about the system saving us. Those days are long gone.

The Congress is controlled by the same MAGA element that refused to hold him to account in prior instances

That has not changed - He will not be impeached by this congress

Also, as an added bonus: The Trump cabinet is also filled with Putinist MAGA sycophants who wouldn't mention ANYTHING bad about Herr Diktator in any place or any case

The cabinet is NOT going to remove POTUS through the 25th Amendment process

So, as rational as your expectations might have been in previous administrations: That's all gone now

They will continue to stonewall remedies regarding the President's irrational, unconstitutional behaviors

There will be no impeachment OR 25th Amendment removal from office

One caveat: They MAY initiate 25th Amendment proceedings IF the techbros believe they can safety wrest the top office from Trump in a moment of weakness .... Yet, that may start an internal MAGA war

Musk, Thiel and Vance are waiting in the wings for their moment: Let's hope they never get it

Guy goes to a daycare center armed with an illegally obtained military-grade firearm. He proceeds to slaughter a bunch of children and caretakers. The community rises in furious outrage; they DEMAND that he be indicted for this crime.

OK, this--and I apologize profusely for the unbearable imagery--this is what I hear when people clamor up to say "TRUMP MUST BE IMPEACHED!!!" Yeah, that would be great, but as we've seen, it's a nothingburger if he's not tried, found guilty, and sentenced--or whatever the Congressional equivalent is at that level.

The last time these heathens put country first before party was Watergate, half a century ago.

and Marshmallow Mike Johnson is the one who has to make that happen. Unfortunately, he turns into marshmallow fluff whenever he thinks about going against his Lard and Savior in any way, at all.

The man has abused his power from day one and a sane government would have ousted him already. However, thee sill be nary a whisper of impeachment while this gang of spineless sycophants and outright cultists retains control of the House.

There is absolutely NOTHING Trump could ever do that would convince them to vote to impeach.

Look at his current mental state. Is anyone invoking the 25th Amendment?

They are completely under his thumb.

Without at least some GOP votes impeachment won't happen. MAGA -- including its wholly owned subsidiary the Republican Party -- loves the cruelty and authoritarianism. Thus impeachment's not going to happen.

To convict, you need 67 votes in the senate, not just a majority. There has not been any time in history where we help the senate with 67 senators. Republicans will never vote for conviction.
