Bill Barr assigned psycho killer cop as Epstein's first cell mate.

Nicholas Tartaglione, Jeffrey Epstein’s first cellmate, is a hulking ex-cop-cum drug dealer then-charged, now convicted, quadruple murderer. For some reason no one in authority found confusing, Epstein said he didn't appreciate it when he woke up to find the killer ex-cop's muscle-y hands around his neck.

To be fair, Tartaglione denied making the marks on Epstein’s neck when the presidents’ friend was found unresponsive in his cell the first time. Barr’s DoJ was surprised to hear the news and moved Tartaglione to another cell.

Perhaps this under-reported story is why many today think Epstein tried to kill himself.

https://yonkerstimes.com/dirty-westchester-ex-cop-is-epsteins-cell-mate/

The assignment of a violent psychopath as a cell-mate makes one wonder if Barr really had Epstein’s safety in mind. Otherwise, somebodies high up in the MAGANAZIGOP might have wanted to shut Epstein up permanently before there had been a trial, let alone a conviction.

Recently, Tartaglione told Rupert Murdoch’s New York Post that Epstein confided in him that the Feds offered Epstein a deal in exchange for dirt on Donnie Dipshit. Tartaglione added that Epstein told the Feds he barely knew Trump, that they didn’t like each other, but Dipshit was nice to females, and that he knew nothing about Trump’s politics. Right-o.

From the Before Time:

Jeffrey Epstein set up meetings with Trump allies before 2016 election

by Alex Henderson
Alternet.org, August 30, 2023

Four years have passed since wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein, facing federal sex trafficking charges involving minors, was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell. A medical examiner ruled that Epstein, on August 10, 2019, had died from suicide by hanging.

Epstein, who was 66 when he died, associated with a lot of famous people. According to the Wall Street Journal, Epstein set up meetings with some of Donald Trump's supporters before the 2016 presidential election.

Those supporters included Thomas Barrack and PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel (a major donor to MAGA Republicans), WSJ journalists Khadeeja Safdar and David Benoit (not to be confused with the jazz musician) report.

Another was the late Vitaly Churkin, who was Russia's ambassador to the United Nations at the time.

Forbes reporter Sara Dorn, in a separate article on Epstein, notes, "The New York Times reported in May that e-mails from Epstein's assistant show he planned to meet with Thiel at least three times in 2014, but the paper did not confirm whether the meetings occurred and Thiel declined to comment at the time."

Jeffrey Epstein Bragged Bill Barr was in Charge, Not Trump

The pedophile told Ehud Barak he had “direct knowledge” that Barr was in charge in DC, according to a new book that also claims Steve Bannon gave Epstein advice on his PR strategy.

Lachlan Cartwright
The Daily Beast, October 15, 2021

A controversial new book from the journalist Michael Wolff claims that the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein bragged that Bill Barr was the man in charge during Trump’s time in office and that the president “lets someone else be in charge, until other people realize that someone, other than him, is in charge. When that happens, you’re no longer in charge.”

The tome, Too Famous: The Rich, the Powerful, the Wishful, the Notorious and the Damned, also claims that Steve Bannon and former Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak tried to help Epstein rehabilitate his image, even suggesting that he try to get favorable coverage on Rachel Maddow or 60 Minutes.

According to Wolff—who reportedly tried to buy New York Magazine with Epstein and disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein—Barak asked Epstein the million-dollar question of who was in charge at the White House. “‘What I want to know from you all-knowing people is: Who is in charge, who is,’ [Barak] said, putting on an American accent over his own often impenetrable Israeli one, ‘calling the shots?’ This was a resumption of the reliable conversation around Epstein: the ludicrousness and vagaries of Donald Trump—once among Epstein’s closest friends. ‘Here is the question every government is asking. Trump is obviously not in charge because he is—’”

Wolff claims that Epstein interrupted the former politico and called Trump—his former playboy party pal—a “moron,” then confided, “At the moment, Bill Barr is in charge.” The pedophile financier continued: “It’s Donald’s pattern...he lets someone else be in charge, until other people realize that someone, other than him, is in charge. When that happens, you’re no longer in charge.”

Barak allegedly pressed, “But let me ask you, why do you think this Barr took this job, knowing all this?”

“The motivation was simple: money,” Epstein replied. “Barr believes he’ll get a big payday out of this ... If he keeps Donald in office, manages to hold the Justice Department together, and help the Republican Party survive Donald, he thinks this is worth big money to him. I speak from direct knowledge. Extremely direct. Trust me.”

Greasy turd is up on things. Per Joyce White Vance:

Project 2025: It's On (Predictably)

Before Bill Barr became Donald Trump’s third attorney general, he circulated a memo that was more or less an audition tape for the job he ultimately got. That memo reached both the White House Counsel’s Office and Main Justice. In it, Barr argued in favor of what had previously been a fringe theory of a powerful “unitary executive,” in other words, a president able to consolidate power at the expense of the other two branches as a very powerful leader. The writing was on the wall with Barr’s selection, although the Supreme Court cast it in stone when the conservative majority signed off on the view that presidents couldn’t be criminally prosecuted as long as the crimes they committed fell under the umbrella of official acts. Even Bill Barr would have never dreamed of arguing the president could use SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival and walk away with no consequences. Now, the Supreme Court says it’s so.

That’s the context that’s essential for understanding Trump’s Friday evening “nomination” (if you can call a social media announcement that) of Russell Vought to lead the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). Vought is a proponent of a powerful executive and of restructuring our institutions to facilitate a government that veers toward the monarchical and away from the democratic. He was one of only four out of forty-four of Trump’s cabinet officials from his first administration who said they’d support him this time.

Vought entered OMB at the start of Trump’s first administration and was confirmed as its director in July 2020. In the archive of his official biography, his role is described like this: “he is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the President’s policy, management and regulatory agendas across the Executive Branch.” OMB is a powerful agency, and its director is, in a very real sense, a president’s right-hand man. Among the job experience Vought touts in his bio are his seven years as Vice President of Heritage Action for America, a sister organization to the Heritage Foundation, which, as readers of Civil Discourse are well aware, is where Project 2025 was incubated.

The website for the Center for Renewing America lists Vought as its President. Jeff Clark, the DOJ appointee who tried to use the Justice Department to do Trump’s bidding and spread the Big Lie following the 2020 election is a fellow at the Center, as is Ken Cuccinelli, who wrote the DHS chapter of Project 2025. Its mission is “to renew a consensus of America as a nation under God with unique interests worthy of defending that flow from its people, institutions, and history, where individuals’ enjoyment of freedom is predicated on just laws and healthy communities.” The Project 2025 website lists the Center as one of the 100 groups that are part of its advisory board.

Now Vought, godfather to Project 2025 and author of its chapter on OMB, will be in charge of administering policy in the next Trump Administration. So much for Trump’s efforts—back when reporting about Project 2025 led to enormous public concern and seemed poised to shift the tide against him— to distance himself from the project. At the time, he disavowed any knowledge of or agreement with the plan, but the claims felt hollow.

In fact, we discussed Trump’s ties to Project 2025, despite his claim that he knew nothing, back in August. Here’s the linchpin, showing that Trump was being disingenuous in that post:

“Tonight, the Washington Post reported that in April 2022, Trump and Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, the front man for Project 2025, took a 45-minute private plane flight together to get to a Heritage Foundation conference where the former president was one of the speakers. Trump told the audience that the Heritage Foundation was ‘going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do.’

Project 2025 is a wrap. It’s locked, loaded, and ready to go. If you believe it’s about to disappear or that Trump won’t use any of it, I have some swampland in Florida for you.

How do we know that? Because Kevin Roberts told us so. After Trump made his threat, and Paul Dans, who had been running the Project at Heritage, stepped down, Roberts said on Twitter that ‘Project 2025 has completed exactly what it set out to do.’”

The Ties That Bind Jeffrey Epstein, William Barr & Donald Trump

Todd Neikirk
Hill Reporter, May 19, 2019

During Attorney General, William Barr’s confirmation hearing, he was mostly peppered with questions about how he would handle the Mueller Report. Senator Ben Sasse’s (R-NE) questioning, however, diverged from the pack. Sasse asked Barr about the lenient sentence given out to billionaire pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein. The future Attorney General told Sasse that he would look into the matter.

This, however, was not the first connection between Barr and his family and the disgraced pedophile. In 1973, Barr’s father Donald, the headmaster at Manhattan’s Dalton School, hired Epstein as a calculus and physics teacher.

While hiring Epstein, a noted mathematics genius, was not strange on its face, the hire was unusual for a number of reasons. Epstein had not earned a college degree as he dropped out of New York’s prestigious Cooper Union. The other odd circumstance was that the new teacher was only 20 years of age.

Apparently, the hire was a successful one. The New Yorker wrote in a 2003 profile on Epstein, “he was something of a Robin Williams–in–Dead Poets Society type of figure, wowing his high-school classes with passionate mathematical riffs.” Epstein’s mathematical skills caught the eye of Bear Stearns’ chairman, Alan “Ace” Greenberg, whose son attended the Dalton School. Greenberg hired Epstein as an options trader and the former teacher was able to amass a fortune.

I remember he was Epstein's cell mate at first. The whole arrangement stunk. If Barr wanted to keep Epstein safe, he would have put him on suicide watch from the first, made sure the cameras were working and NOT assigned a murderous criminal for his cell mate. It is painfully obvious to everyone but the clueless, that Barr wanted to shut Epstein up. Permanently. Barr is a fixer. The local crime syndicate of NYC that Trump has relied on in the past and that no doubt has connections to the jails and prisons, took are of Trump's problem which he happened to share with a lot of other wealthy men. Coincidences like these are a hard thing to arrange.

How Bill Barr Is Helping Trump Escape the Russia Scandal

The White House would rather have a fight over contempt than betrayal.

by David Corn
Mother Jones, May 12, 2019

On Wednesday, the Democratic-controlled House Judiciary Committee voted to proceed with a contempt resolution against Attorney General Bill Barr. The man installed as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer by President Donald Trump—who had been looking for his own Roy Cohn—had refused to hand over an unredacted version of special counsel Robert Mueller’s final report and had ducked a committee hearing the previous week because Democrats had insisted on allowing the committee’s counsel to question Barr. The contempt vote, committee Democrats say, was a demonstration of Democratic unity (among a caucus divided on the question of impeaching Trump) and a signal to the party’s base and others that the Dems, as they face an obdurate Trump administration bent on stymying congressional investigations, are willing to punch back. But they may be punching in the wrong direction and, consequently, helping Trump escape the Russia scandal.

Barr is a convenient target for the Democrats. He misled the public about Mueller’s report—twice: with the four-page letter he wrote purportedly summarizing the report’s conclusions, and the press conference he held before the report was released. Barr downplayed the evidence related to the question of whether Trump had committed obstruction of justice and said Mueller had handed him the decision on whether Trump had committed this crime. (Mueller’s report said that was a matter for Congress to handle.) Barr said Trump had cooperated fully. (Trump had refused to be interviewed.) He echoed Trump’s mantra of “no collusion.” (Mueller had investigated whether there had been any criminal conspiracy related to the Russian attack on the 2016 election and found nothing to prosecute—and rendered no judgment on “collusion.”) And Barr, unsurprisingly, had not mentioned that Mueller’s report cited numerous lies from Trump and his crew about their interactions with Russia and Moscow’s assault on the United States.

An attorney general spinning for a president who might have criminally obstructed justice is important. But, arguably, it is not as important as what has prompted all this hubbub: the Trump-Russia scandal itself.

The Mueller report reaffirms the core elements of what is probably the most consequential political scandal in American history. Russia, it notes, waged a “sweeping and systematic” attack on a US presidential election. And, Mueller notes, Trump and his campaign, while publicly denying this attack was underway, sought to benefit from it. As the report states, during the campaign, Trump called “this whole thing with Russia” a “total deflection” and said that the notion Moscow was intervening in the election was “farfetched” and “ridiculous”—which is precisely what Russia was claiming at the time. Trump’s embrace and promotion of Moscow disinformation was not a crime—but Mueller included it in his narrative.

Mueller’s report lays out the curious series of interactions between Trump associates and Russia throughout the 2016 contest—showing that the campaign even attempted to establish a back-channel connection to Putin’s office after public reports that Moscow was behind the hack-and-dump attacks mounted against Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign. Additionally, the report details how Trump lied to the public about his secret efforts during the campaign to develop a Trump tower project in Moscow. (After 10 months of negotiations, the project fizzled out once Trump essentially secured the Republican presidential nomination in June 2016.) The report points out that Trump continued to lie about this deal after he won the election. It cites a remark he made at a press conference days before moving into the White House: “I have no deals that could happen in Russia, because we’ve stayed away…We could make deals in Russia very easily if we wanted to, I just don’t want to because I think that would be a conflict.”

Jeffrey Epstein: Jail CCTV erased by 'technical errors'

BBC, January 10, 2020

Surveillance video from disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein's first suspected suicide attempt was destroyed by accident, prosecutors say.

US attorneys say the jail mistakenly saved footage from the wrong cell.

Epstein, a convicted sex offender, hanged himself in jail in August while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.

He had pleaded not guilty to sexually abusing dozens of girls, some as young as 14.

Snip...

"The requested video no longer exists on the backup system and has not since at least August 2019 as a result of technical errors."

Epstein told both authorities and his lawyer that this fellow attempted to kill him. He had marks on his neck that convinced officials to do what Epstein's lawyer insisted be done: move the ex-cop/Russian mob hit man. They did, but some guards have said off the record the cell doors were kept unlocked the night that Jeffery died.

Jeffrey Epstein’s former cellmate cleared of wrongdoing after probe into earlier possible suicide attempt, lawyer says

Key Points

* An investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s possible suicide attempt last month — which happened less than three weeks before his death in a Manhattan jail cell — cleared the financier’s former cellmate of wrongdoing.

* Nicholas Tartaglione, a former New York police officer, was sharing a cell with Epstein in Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center at the time Epstein was found semi-conscious in the fetal position with marks on his neck.

* Meanwhile, Epstein’s death nearly a week ago was officially ruled a suicide Friday.

by Kevin Breuninger
CNBC, August 16, 2019

Excerpt...

Tartaglione’s lawyer, Bruce Barket, told NBC that officials at the jailhouse said in an email that Tartaglione would face no charges or internal discipline now that the investigation had concluded.

“We’ve always maintained Nick did nothing wrong and that’s clearly been borne out here by the jail itself,” Barket told NBC. An official familiar with the case confirmed Barket’s statement, NBC reported.

Barket told CNBC last month that Epstein and Tartaglione had “gotten along pretty well” as cellmates. Tartaglione has pleaded not guilty in his case.

The lawyer maintained from the start that “any suggestion that Mr. Tartaglione assault[ed] anyone is a complete fabrication,” and claimed that the assault theory was being floated “to retaliate against Mr. Tartaglione for complaining to the court about the deplorable conditions at the MCC.”

Barket did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment on NBC’s report that Tartaglione had been cleared. A lawyer for Epstein also did not immediately respond.

When really powerful people want to bury a story, there's nothing like a 260-pound steroid-muscled mass murderer. Every single part of that statement is a lie.

1)Feds offered Epstein a deal in exchange for dirt on Donnie Dipshit - Why? Why would Trump's DOJ want dirt on Trump to impeach him? The DOJ already had plenty of evidence to impeach Trump in the form of the Mueller Report and they instead covered up for Trump and lied about the report. It's laughable that the guy thinks anyone would find this credible.
2) Epstein told the Feds he barely knew Trump, that they didn’t like each other - Epstein made many statements about Trump being his best friend. In 2019, everybody knew they had had a close friendship so nobody would believe that they barely knew each other.
3) Dipshit was nice to females - shortly before his death, Epstein told Michael Wolff told in a taped interview that Trump treated women worse than he himself (Epstein) did. Does that sound like someone who would say Trump was nice to females? Another laughable claim.
4) he knew nothing about Trump’s politics. - In July 2019, Trump had been President for 2 1/2 years. How could anyone claim to not know anything about Trump's policies at that point?

Tartaglione's statement to the NY Post about what Epstein supposedly told him was perhaps the most unbelievable, laughably false statement in the history of false statements by criminals.

Epstein’s education consisted of a few semesters at Cooper Union but he got a teaching job at prestigious school. Donald Barr wrote a very sick novel with rape scenes of young girls by older rich men. He saw something in Jeffrey.

Grok

Interesting Monday Fact:by Jack Hopkins

“Former US Attorney General William “Bill” Barr’s Father, Donald Barr, wrote a novel that was published in September of 1973.

It was called “Space Relations.”

The novel involves humans having created an intergalactic empire run by the wealthy elite.

In one part of the book, passengers traveling on a craft are captured by space pirates.

On the spacecraft of the space pirates, the captured are forced to rape a 15 year old virgin in front of the pirates.

The book revolves around the depiction of the rape of enslaved people-mostly teenage girls-and the “sexualization of adolescents.” (Becky Ferreria, Vice)

Donald Barr wrote this book (a book underage rape woven through it ) while he was employed as headmaster of a Manahattan high school; Dalton School. (A college prep school)”
