What we the United States and the world are witnessing right now is the result of a republican base that never ever goes against Donald Trump. And as a result of that, we are now in an alternate reality where up is down left is right, you name it.
I honestly believe that 99% of that can be attributed to the fact that Republicans will never say a bad word about Trump and therefore no media will ever even begin to question anything that Trump is doing. They didn’t do it during the campaign and they’re not doing it now. The world is on fire because of what Trump has done/is doing and the Republicans are doing better poll wise than the Democrats are!
Even now, we live in a world with anything that Trump does is accepted. There is no pushback.
And if Biden had been given at least some kind of support from the get-go, from the day he took office, things would have been a lot different. Of this I am convinced. Whether or not Biden ran.
The Democrats fell for it. They fell for the pressure instead of standing on principle. Other than that debate performance, I honestly have never seen this supposed mental deterioration of Biden. I see it from Trump. I see it every single day.
Every time a Democrat from day, one of the Biden administration had gone on television there was always the “well yes Biden is old”, blah blah blah, or just letting them control the narrative. And they’re still doing it! Why are we talking about Biden? It’s because it provides endless content for the media and the Democrats are so weak at this point that they just keep falling for over and over again. Regurgitating storylines incessantly.
Democrats are seen as weak now. These are not the people I would want in a fight. Before I used to think somebody would help us, somebody would save us. Where is everyone?
As part of my job, I have a social media presence and I spent a lot of time on social media. And people literally are asking where is the help. Where are the democrats?
We could not ask for a better person to run against on paper. Our poll numbers should be skyrocketing, but they’re not. The Democrats are seen as weak.
So yes, fuck Clooney and every single one of them who I used to admire greatly. They can all go fuck themselves. I will personally never think of them the same way again. The good guys are no more (my feelings).

Sorry for the rant. I’m talking to text, so hopefully this makes sense lol.

You wrote everything I am feeling as well.

As for Biden’s “cognitive decline”, I agree wholeheartedly that I never saw any of that either. What I saw was a man getting older and a bit slower to speak. Which, considering that Joe Biden has to constantly battle a stutter, is not surprising that it gets harder as you get older. People are confusing “performance” with content. Because Trump was able to speak loudly and get the words out quickly, people are completely ignoring what he actually SAID, which was lies and gibberish.

And, yeah, who wants to trust a party to fight for them when they won’t even fight for their own President? A man who passed more of their legislation than any Democratic President in modern history!

US President Joe Biden has said he thinks he would have defeated Donald Trump and won re-election in November.

Speaking to USA Today in an exclusive interview, Biden did, however, add that he was unsure if he would have had the stamina for another four-year term.

"So far, so good," the 82-year-old said. "But who knows what I'm going to be when I'm 86 years old?"

Tue Jul 22, 2025, 05:19 PM

National elections are vulnerable because anyone with access to a computer can potentially compromise them if it is plugged in and connected to a network. All you need is the right tools and the right knowledge. Secondly, the repugs have fought since day one to not maintain a paper trail. Why?

The early electronic voting machines were made by the same companies that produce ATMs. Who in their right mind would use an ATM to deposit and withdraw money if they didn't receive a printed receipt?

THEY TOLD US RECEIPTS WERE NOT POSSIBLE FROM VOTING MACHINES.

I have been retired for 10 years as a computer consultant. I am not going to spend hours trying to convince others that elections are being stolen.
History will prove that those of us who could see it happening, WE JUST DIDN'T HAVE A LOUD ENOUGH VOICE to convince others.

I know they do not always use the same techniques, but they are still manipulating the election process. The more visible, open methods of doing this include gerrymandering, moving voting locations at the last minute, or failing to provide enough voting stations for the expected number of voters in any given district. And more recently, they have been placing individuals in voting locations to intimidate potential voters.

Just like everything else Trump does, he telegraphs what he has done and is going to do. They RIGGED the 2024 election, hear it here from the convicted felon.

I get it, he’s loyal to his dad, but I would rather his family had told Joe that it was time to hang it up and that he had little support left to continue his campaign. They should have told him not to run in the first place. But instead they dig in. The more they talk, the less I care for them.Blaming George Clooney of all people is ridiculous, who had put together the biggest fundraiser in democratic history. It’s not Clooney I’m pissed at at this point.

Democratic lawmakers were understandably worried about losing their own jobs. Staying loyal to a president that was almost sure to lose was not going to help. Biden put them in a very tough spot.

He was however convinced there was no likely path to win. I think for some time he was kept in the dark by the likes of Donilon and others in his inner circle.

There was real desperation after the debate. Donors were fleeing. Congressional democrats were increasingly worried, especially those in swing districts.

How did it work out? We’re playing ‘what ifs’ at this point. My personal guess is that it worked out better than if he had remained the nominee. My guess is he would have lost an additional one or two states over Harris and more dems would have lost in the House and Senate.

There was no coming back from that debate.

It’s important to remember that a successful incumbent President was subjected to a contrived, three week public relations campaign, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The campaign to remove Joe Biden *saturated* American culture — the Media flooded us with “the message” incessantly. We were in it up to our nostrils. Nancy Pelosi contributed significantly to the effort.

It’s very well possible the accident that killed his mom and sister had a lasting traumatic impact on him (that’s what he has said before in interviews). He did suffer head injuries. Maybe it had an impact on some of his impulsive behavior and propensity toward drug use. But I’m not involved in psychology so not sure if that’s really credible.

He may have also felt like the black sheep of the family, with Beau being the ‘favored’ one.

I don’t think he does his dad or family any favors by doing these interviews, but I think he likes the spotlight.

Hunter Biden stayed out of the spotlight as much as possible (with all the constant media coverage), most likely not to make things hard for his dad.

I love seeing Hunter Biden coming out and speaking, honestly, about his struggles. I love seeing him come from a position of strength versus shame. And I bet Joe Biden couldn't be more proud seeing Hunter feel the confidence within himself to fight back. The comments on the interview (over 2 million now) show overwhelming support for Hunter. Many said they realized they were duped by right-wing media and have completely changed their opinion of Hunter.

Traumatic grief completely shatters a person, and you are never the same again...ever. The pain doesn't go away...ever. Hunter Biden and Joe Biden are superhuman IMO.

It was organized, with the "debate" being the excuse for these people to undermine a sitting president. It just isn't done, and the election was definitely lost for Democrats when that stunt was pulled. It would have been better for Biden to have lost than to put Kamala Harris up as a lamb to the slaughter. She didn't deserve that shit. She ran an impeccable campaign, but one cannot undermine a sitting president by forcing him out.

I don't like to even think about this. Of course, I do think there were some dirty tactics by the Trump bunch with regard to the swing states. No way Trump won all of those. It smacks of fraud.
