Pilot apologizes to passengers after near-miss with B-52 bomber

A Delta regional pilot made an “aggressive maneuver” to avoid a mid-air collision with a B-52 bomber on Friday. The incident is under investigation. The pilot explained what happened, saying, “Sorry about the aggressive maneuver, it caught me by surprise. This is not normal at all. I don’t know why they didn’t give us a heads up, because the Air Force base does have radar...Long story short, it was not fun, but I do apologize for it and thank you for understanding. Not a fun day at work."

The Air Force base is just a few miles away from Minot. I flew in and out of there back in June.

there's been a long string of shit happening in the sky since Krasnov (r-felon) and his sicko crew immediately trashed the FAA as soon as they took over in January.

What a disaster the G.O.P. has made of our airports and skies. They can't do anything right.
