and it ended up becoming a pulmonary embolism and blocked oxygen to her lungs. She was eating breakfast at the table, passed out, then died. It was a shock to all of us, especially as she'd just gone to see her doctor the day before about her leg swelling. He dismissed it as nothing serious. Unfortunately he was wrong. We were all devastated because she was the rock of the family. It happened the day I just got home from college for Christmas break. The phone rang, I answered it, it was my cousin telling me her Mom was gone.

So it can happen.

Increase and medications can only do so much.

TACO has the best doctors and medicines so perhaps he has 7 years. We don’t know what other medical conditions he’s hiding.

JD is worse because he’s younger, meaner, and smarter.

That’s a tough thought because it implies Trump has charisma. But he does have more than Vance. Yuck.

This is a guy who messed up ordering a donut. That doesn't indicate leadership potential.

OTOH, we could end up with Peter Thiel (Vance's Sugar Daddy) being the new Musk, throwing his fat wallet behind the primary candidates of negotiable loyalties. Maybe some in the GOP will finally decide they're tired of the whole shitshow, and try bucking him even if it means risking re-election. If Trump goes full dirt nap before the primaries, a lot of GOP incumbents may decide the time is ripe to "return to the private sector", meaning comfy sinecures on K Street.

Edema is a common sign of heart failure. It occurs when the heart cannot pump blood adequately, leading to an increase in pressure inside the blood vessels. This causes fluid to leak into the surrounding tissues.

Edema in heart failure often affects the lower limbs and fingers, but it can also occur around the abdomen. The severity and extent of edema may indicate the progression and severity of heart failure. Treatment may involve medications, compression stockings, and movement to increase circulation.

Some bad, some minor. There's no good way to know from what we see on TV. It could be he sat too long, it could be testosterone replacement, or kidney/liver/heart disease.

It is a very painful and debilitating problem to have.

Ankles swell up for weeks at times.

Factor V Laden, my blood clots to fast. At that time I got a filter that is supposed to catch clots from
going to my lungs and take blood thinner. My right leg used to swell badly because of damaged valves in
my leg. I joined a gym and took up bike riding in warmer weather. I have very little swelling now unless I spend hours
flying or driving, I wear compression socks in that case. It's been 20 years and I am still alive at 77. I doubt Trump is
going to die any time soon.

a heart attack, I've had high blood pressure for over 30 years, I'm obese, I'm 77 yo now and I'm still healthy enough to live for another 7-8 years.

Trump has the best medical care available so don't count on swollen ankles to kill him any time soon.
