Sen Cruz is at the Texas Hill Country Presser

I thought he’d be in Cancun.

FYI: the Congressman representing Kerrville and the area Is Chip Roy, Freedom Caucus member and ultra conservative

Cruz was asking for people to volunteer at their church. I remember when he voted against funding for Super Storm Sandy

They’ll always implant themselves to blathering about the moral crusade.

Only thing is they have no morals.

The republican Party has become the DEATH PANEL Club. Ain’t that right chuck grassley!

How they hoped to have more processes in place to prevent this in the future.

I don’t know, that sounds a lot like that commie big gov’t and regulation he’s always railing against.

11. It wasn't just their leadership: it was the people of Kerrville

Let's be clear: their refusal to spend tax monies on an early warning system was a democratic decision of the people of the town and county. Their leadership was accurately representing the wishes of their constituents, who thought that being taxed and spending tax money on an early warning system would be wasteful.

That's not gloating. That's a fact that the people of those localities will have to live with and reflect on. Or not.
