(5,706 posts)Let's be clear: their refusal to spend tax monies on an early warning system was a democratic decision of the people of the town and county. Their leadership was accurately representing the wishes of their constituents, who thought that being taxed and spending tax money on an early warning system would be wasteful.
That's not gloating. That's a fact that the people of those localities will have to live with and reflect on. Or not.
