the deaths in the texas flood are the fault of the GOP

kerr county is very heavily maga. the moron got over 75% of the vote there
the county board has discussed a warning system along the river several times and was told their current system was worthless

in the words of the kerr county judge (the highest elected official in the county) “this is the most dangerous river valley in the United States and we deal with floods on a regular basis.” and yet when asked why they dont have a warning system on the river he said “taxpayers wouldn’t pay for it.”

the maga morons would rather pass laws about who can use a bathroom than take steps to actually protect people.

1. Has anyone cited the local authorities for not enacting/enforcing a mandatory evacuation from the flood zones?

Mandatory evacuations are common for disasters and this flood seems no different. Why didn’t county authorities go door to door to warn and remove people?

2. Absolutely. Unless they really believe God did it, as a punishment (they truly deserve )

Nope. They will actually believe Democrats did this, by trying to protect people with ridiculous science they don't want.

If there is any justice, no Texas GOP will ever have a good night's sleep again. They will mysteriously wake up screaming every night at 3 am. And everyone will know why.

Then there should have been signs up all over the area warning residents and visitors alike that they may have to evacuate literally on a moment's notice--day or night. Probably not wise to put childrens' camps in such a dangerous place.
