could get a person busted?
I wouldn't mind the busted part, but I'm 81, and my arms don't go behind my back for cuffs very easy anymore.
And forget that "on your knees" shit.
Scenario...ICE is raiding my local Home Depot....carting away day laborers to god knows where.. and I yell things about the ICE agent's intelligence, and mother's species.
Can they hassle me or bust me?

I think that confronting ICE with insults poses the risk of being assaulted.

(1,726 posts)But they will bust you. There was something posted in a thread, about this, earlier today. A woman who had not touched the agents was either threatened with assault for her words or she was arrested. I cannot remember which.

(1,726 posts)It was in response to a wine guy being arrested by ICE. Here is what the reply post said:
9. The agents actually said asking questions was "assault"

I underlined it in this excerpt rom the Guardian article:
Victoria Reader, who works for Sotelo as a vineyard manager, would know. She was in the car on 6 June, a week before Sotelos arrest, when another employee was also taken. Reader says that agents were masked and refused to identify themselves.
They didnt identify themselves. They just came out. They didnt even say anything. They just started trying to open the doors, Reader said. I kept asking, who are you? What are you doing? And they wouldnt answer.
Reader said that agents would not tell her what immigration laws her employee violated, threatened her with assault of an officer for asking questions and told her she was not allowed to follow their cars or know where her employee was being taken.
