Dr. Ben Edwards appeared in the video posted March 31 by the anti-vaccine group Kennedy once led, Childrens Health Defense. In it, Edwards appears wearing scrubs and talking with parents and children in a makeshift clinic he set up in Seminole, Texas, ground zero of the outbreak that has sickened hundreds of people and killed three, including two children.
Edwards is asked whether he had measles, and he responded, Yes, then said his infection started the day before the video was recorded.
Yesterday was pretty achy. Little mild fever. Spots came in the afternoon. Today, I woke up feeling good, Edwards said in the video.

(1,925 posts)Isn't measles incredibly contagious? Wouldn't he be putting everyone in harms way?
Can't someone stop him if the above is true?

(704 posts)murder but a so called "Dr." whom is diagnosed with measles and treating undiagnosed children isn't investigated for child endangerment. Nor is insane Kennedy held accountable for endorsing this quack. Abuse the children, once out of the womb, and protect a wishful thought in the womb.
Yup, sounds like Republicans in Texas on Easter weekend. Thumbs up, you bible thumping, false prophet preaching holier than thou, as.holes.
You better hope there's no God. Otherwise, HIDE!

(334 posts)but "a makeshift" clinic.
A pressing question is, what is the Texas State Medical Board going to do about this gross breach of practice standards?
One could speculate on this; but, perhaps a better use of one's time, would be to ponder the reductio ad absurdum: "How many angels(or is it angles?) can dance on the head of a pin"

(30,148 posts)If there are any fatalities on account of this "doctor" that rfk jr. thinks so highly of, he ought to lose all his rights to practice medicine, and face a lifetime of legal liability.
