General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIt is possible that the big picture
here is that Crumb The 1st and the fascists are going to disobey court rulings in so many cases that it drives the confrontation to a fever pitch. Then at that point they invoke emergency status. Somewhat similar to happenings in other countries where dictators have taken hold.
It should be clear to every official and court by now that the fascists don't plan on complying with court orders but rather parsing them to death. All of their actions and statements are about ongoing defiance. Their actions are not based on stopping prohibited actions but rather clearly indicate that they are proceeding on with their actions by a multi-faceted strategy of forming far out, novel "new" arguments in court filings, open defiance and also looking for ways to "get around" adverse rulings.
An example of this is the CFPB. When the court said they could not shut down the agency their response was to "get around" the ruling by laying off or terminating all of the employees. Now a judge has halted them, for the time being, at that step.
But our understanding and response to all of this should make it clear that seeing these actions as "one by one" incremental moves would not be correct. They purposely want any response or understanding to be seen as "case by case". That way they have us always responding to what they have already done. While that response is necessary we need to also focus on their future moves as well and plan ways to be proactive and cut them off, counter-program so to speak and frustrate their larger overall planning and implementation of their fascist takeover and destruction of the country.
You can be sure that they not only are using Project 2025 but they have actions planned for the next year already in place and our investigation and planning needs to take the fight there to prevent actions, be prepared to respond and dull the impact of their negative actions as much as possible.
We will fight the individual battles and deal with the wounds to the country and individuals but we also need to have our thinking and efforts go beyond going from battle to battle. The fascists have goals and plans laid out ahead for their next moves. We must recognize that and have our plans as well.

The big 10 conference has come together to fight any BS that frump might try to push on the universities. Their combined endowment will allow them to fight off any kind of tyranny or federal defunding they might try to push on them.
The fight the oligarchy tour has his cabinet and congress rattled and speaking up.
The EU and China are thumbing their nose at him. Althou not national, it does hurt their cause.
