I believe this was part of the hamlet of Ludingtonville, where her family's mill was based. Apparently the hamlet was mostly torn down for construction of the interstate.

Speaking of historical sites that are now just names, just a short hop further east on I-84 you could once see the Danbury Fairgrounds, with its 19th-century race track and grandstand, built originally for horse-racing but later used for stock car races. In the '80s it was all torn down to build ... the "Danbury Fair Mall." Talk about insult to injury ...
