Important DOGE Russia Connection
There was an extensive post last night on this subject by another DUer. I think that this is so important that it should be reposted and made more available to DU and people in general.
In March there was a whistleblower who is an IT worker in the NLRB (National Labor Relations Board), an independent federal agency. DOGE came in and started altering the computer systems. The whistleblower noted that there was a very large and unusual migration of data out of the NLRB computer systems. Shortly thereafter, there were attempts from a Russian point of origin to log into the NLRB computers using passwords and log in information created by the DOGE Agents. The Russian actor was not able to log in despite this, since the NLRB computers block any log in attempts from foreign countries, even if they use a valid password and log in access.
Furthermore, the whistleblower speculates that it is possible that the large data migration could have been to a Russian receiver or some other bad actor. The NLRB has sensitive information on legal disputes and private information on corporations and other organizations. This type of information could be used in corporate espionage.
