5. Which brings up an important point

The economy can go to shit under a conservative white republican president, and that's in the record of recent history. Democrats can rescue the economy and that's in the record of recent history also. In spite of that, a majority of white voters (not just magats) believe republicans are better at handling the economy. They also believe republicans are better at handling foreign policy which is also contradicted by recent history.

White conservative men get all the passes. They can shoot white voters in the face and still get their vote. Democrats, even white Democrats don't get the credit they deserve. Protecting powerful white men who want to consolidate their power is an American tradition. Very few people actually like the unfair policies of republicans yet here we are.

I know a lot of people blame Democratic messaging, Democratic priorities, and Democratic operatives. But even when Dems are firing on all cylinders, you can't beat the above bias. Republicans can and fail at every level of execution, but continue to win elections based on BIAS. That's the problem.
