He wanted to make them an example.
Either cooperate or pay the consequences.
But, in the big picture, he wanted to quell protests and dissension of his policies across all the universities in this country. Because, he understands that to silence Americans, it is best to silence the young, college-aged people first.
In my opinion, that was their goal. They wanted to stifle dissent.

Everything he does is personal. He has no feelings for humanity or the bigger American causes. Its all personal and as nasty as he can be. Its like were in this permanent cheap TV reality show and theres no way out

Hes already gone after law firms who had the gall to represent people or institutions he doesnt like.

(36,597 posts)and other people he hates and is jealous of. He hates smart highly educated people from elite universities because he knows they look at him as a piece of ignorant trash. So he is only too happy to try and destroy as much as he can about them.
