Krasnov extended his hiring freeze for another 3 months. Does Krasnov want to crash the economy, forcing Powell to cut interest rates? Does he want to bring the dollar down and thereby boosting crypto?

Is that Krasnov's economic plan all along, and does it involve crypto?

1. No

he is using the crypto community like countless other constituencies.

Telling them what they want to hear in vague terms.

He will / has worked to eliminate as much oversight as possible, as he has everywhere else to allow him and the other oligarchs, and generally bad actors, get away with as much as they can.

That is the sum of it.

2. Krasnov wants interest rates lowered badly,

to the point of threatening Powell. One of Powell's reasons for not lowering interest rates is that the economy is doing OK, Powell said that.

Sorry, but I believe there is an ulterior motive for Krasnov wanting interest rate cuts and it has nothing to do with the economy.

totally agreed on that point.

But, it has very little to do with crypto.

Its just a sideline grift for a community he knows very much wants to believe in him.

4. Investing in crypto is too much like going to Vegas. It might take a little longer...

but you're still going to lose when someone makes off with the wallet. Happens quite often.
