What will happen when Dump demands

A weird experience that caused me to ponder the same.
I was going to go through a portion of Canada to shorten a very long drive and had to turn around after seeing how my devices could be taken and searched at the border upon re-entry. I decided to delay the trip indefinitely, besides, the orange ogre is planning to impose martial law this weekend.
I'm pissed and worried. If my devices were taken and searched, DU would be on their radar for sure and I would probably be disappeared.
Had already covered a third of the trip but decided to go back to point A for fear of my safety.
