Trump's Harvard beef? He's using the presidency to seek revenge for a business matter that upset him in the SEVENTIES.

According to writer Michael Daly, the common link between the two episodes is the billionaire Pritzker family; Jay Pritzker ran afoul of Trump when the two entered into an ill-fated partnership to manage New York's Hyatt Hotel in 1975, while niece Penny Pritzker currently serves as Harvard's most senior member on its board of governors.

Trump vowed revenge on the Pritzkers for asking him to pay his part to upgrade the hotel "at a time when [Trump's] dependence on junk bonds and outsized sense of his own brilliance in other projects had left him at the brink of ruin," Daly wrote. "He narrowly escaped and revealed a taste for revenge that has become familiar to many of us in recent days."

Trump finally settled two lawsuits with the Pritzkers and sold his share of the hotel to the family for $140 million in October 1996.

“They attacked me when I was down,” Daly quoted Trump as saying. “Now I’m doing great again and it’s my turn. I always said, the first time I got back on my feet, the Pritzkers would be the first people I’d go after.”

but Vance is not one whit better than trump... just a whole different flavor of crazy. This one is mixed with a heady brew of false religiosity, coupled with the zealots of that religion's power brokers. They've been working towards this day since at least the 20's or 30's. They've even gone through name changes so as to confuse people. Once they were just called "Evangelicals"... then, to set themselves apart from regular, biblically minded evangelicals, they called themselves Dominionists. When too many started realizing who they were again and advertising it on social media, they changed their name again and before NAR (National Apostolic Reformationists). Who's sole aim is to claim America (and then the world) for their god. They want to set up a theocracy in this nation that would make Gilead would look like Disneyland. These people believe *anything* they do towards achieving this goal is done in their lord's name, and is therefore legal. That means, cheating, stealing and even murder. It's all fare game as long as they yell, "In Gods Name" as they do it.

Hmm... sounds suspiciously like "Allah Ahkbar" doesn't it. One religious zealot is just like another when you get right down to it. And all should be outlawed. You want to practice a religion? More power to you. Just do it with your own kind, leave others out of it, and move towards good.
