1. Interesting word choice: "micromanage"

Because that's how Trump gets his way in court. He keeps finding smaller and smaller points of law until one sticks.

Are judges and the judicial system catching on?

Appeal, appeal, appeal, appeal, appeal.

3. I'm thankful a court is holding firm against him....

but this is where it truly begins to get real. He's had other courts against him, too, and he's just ignored them and done whatever it was he wants. I still say he had Garcia executed and doesn't want that news to come out; nor does the guy from salvador. But he should have known... everything trump touches dies... be prepared to die for your hero, cause he ain't gonna save you. trump will push back harder at this and the heritage foundation will be there pushing him to go even further. I actually can see the rumors about 4/20 coming to pass. Then what are we going to do?

7. I'm hopeful that this may be the stick that breaks the camel's back.

First of all, it's a story that keeps getting louder, as opposed to everything else except tariffs that disappeared in a 24-hour shock and awe campaign. Indeed, it's widening to many reports coming out of so many more innocents, there are so many more lawsuits going over the kidnappings, and also, Boasberg's considering contempt charges regarding the midnight planes that he ordered turned around that weren't, one of which was carrying Garcia. This is really ballooning into a narrative they can't control - which is beautiful. And also, all these courts finding similar human rights abuses in all the deportations... they are building a fantastic case that the SCOTUS has already affirmed once. I'm guardedly hopeful, not for Mr. Garcia's or anyone's return, but in this regime's implosion.

I nod my head in agreement with all you said. I don't suppose we'll ever get a full accounting of who they sent where, and how many are still alive. He may even have sent people to other hell holes in the world that we don't know about. Blowing up into a huge, never-ending narrative? Now that would be great news.

One branch of our government *has* to stand strong for law and democracy. The executive has become god-emperor; the legislative has turned tail and run, for the most part... or at least, keeping their heads down, other than for a few brave souls. It falls to the judiciary to stand firm, even in the face of the highest court of the land being bought heart and soul by bribes and payoffs.

It would be nice at least *one* branch of government stands with its people, as they protest and demonstrate outside their states' capitol buildings, and elsewhere in the country. Oh, to hit that magical 3.5% mark.

6. Judge Wilkinson is considered a conservative superstar by even the most Trumper GOP

This is a massive win for this case.

The two Opus Dei fanatics Roberts and Gorsuch, plus the Handmaiden, and even Kegger Kav will consider this opinion very VERY seriously (Alito and Thomas are hopeless)

12. Correct. Many of his clerks have been chosen to clerk for the conservatives on the Supreme Court

Over the years, eleven of Wilkinson's clerks have been selected by Thomas to be his clerks. Six of Roberts clerks. Four of Kavanaugh's clerks, including one of his current clerks. Three Gorsuch clerks. Two Alito. One Barrett.
