It's not the end, it's just the beginning. We The People get to write our future.

I know that despair is "easier" and at times very logical. But the truth is, if we do despair, we will be assisting, yes actively assisting the enemy. Why do you think they try to encourage us to freak out and cry, because they are using our own energy against us, the way a judo master uses the wight and motion of the opponent has, makign them fall on their head.

I'm going to go about my day contemplating what she said. I can see her premise that even if we didn't grow up in an evangelical environment, it still seeped into our consciousness. This video spoke to me. 🤔

are twisted in their thinking.

Whenever I see a bloody Jesus suffering on the cross, I am reminded that they are a death cult.

Jesus taught us to love our neighbor, the very foundation of his philosophy.
That is about life and hope. Not about despair and wishing for the end of our amazing earth.

worldview was religious-like and even cult-like, but didn't realize it might come from an evangelical background that those on the Left "haven't unpacked yet." I grew up around silent stoic Lutherans always expecting the worst; if things went too well they got nervous waiting for the other shoe to drop. The drama of the gloom & doomers makes me think: Who do you think you are? Make yourself useful, think of others, wake up and smell the coffee.

There are so many stories of Americans who never lose hope and fight and care for others every day and those are beautiful.

Data show the more pessimistic, the more likely a vote for Trump, third party, or no vote. Yes, it actively assists the enemy. People stay in their anger bubble and stew alone.

Americans used to be known for their cheerful optimism and can-do spirit -- hope and change, stronger together. Republicans take a strength and make it seem like a weakness.

If someone really pisses me off, I get “deadly” with my speech. Normally, I’m too easy going to be much of a verbal threat. It surprises a lot of people who inevitably push me too far.
