Felon-in-Chief's portrait to be removed in Colorado after tantrum

Trump’s portrait to be taken down at Colorado Capitol after president claimed it was ‘distorted’ (Associated Press)

DENVER (AP) — A painting of Donald Trump hanging with other presidential portraits at the Colorado state Capitol will be taken down after Trump claimed that his was “purposefully distorted,” according to a letter obtained by The Associated Press.

House Democrats said in a statement that the oil painting would be taken down at the request of Republican leaders in the Legislature. Colorado Republicans raised more than $10,000 through a GoFundMe account to commission the oil painting, which was unveiled in 2019.

The portrait looks true to life, but realism is an offense in MAGA world.

Just remind him he's not the boss of us. We are his employers. Fuck his fee fees; if he doesn't like the portrait, he doesn't have to look.

The contours in the cheek area are off. Maybe the chin, as well - they are definitely off in combination with the cheeks, but when I cover up the cheeks it's pretty close to reality. As to purposefully distorted, . If he's ever actually tried to paint a realistic portrait he would know how hard it is to get it right.

And it is really stupid to throw a tantrum over a portrait, especially one intended to honor you.

Now . . . what is "purposefully distorted" are all the "hero" trading cards of him that he loves so much.

What's next ? Separation from the Catholic church?
Legitimization of his own cult?
Spanish American Inquisitions?

"No problem, sir. I'll have it removed immediately."

"What will you replace it with, though?" he asked.

"I didn't say anything about replacing it."
