Guard for today’s proceedings? No, of course not because this ceremonial vote count has never been violent in the past except when Trump incited it.
Should have been no need to call out the National Guard, and if there had been Trump should’ve done it not the speaker of the house.

that Pelosi didn't have that responsibility. It's a lie the Repubs invented to deflect the truth. Effing Donald Trump is an insurrectionist. We FAILED to get him prosecuted in time to avoid this.

re-elected to the government he tried to overthrow. With that immunity no telling what he and his clown car cabal will come up with. They can actually concoct 'official act' reasons to have people jailed...or killed even, and nothing can be done because of that immunity.

No way this will work out well with an aged, megalomanical, narcissistic, mentally declining, dictatorial president in charge. It's going to be rough, as things take time to balance out the evil vs the good.

see the Jan. 1 violent acts. IMO there will be more when things done improve quickly once the deportation pens start filling up, taking workers from the construction, agricultural, meat packing, gardening, housekeeping sectors and others.

Fasten seat belts.
