Southwest Ohio: Just received my 4th call from the county government that manages the roads.

Snow emergency Level 3.

All roads are closed.

If you attempt to drive you could be subject to arrest unless it is an emergency.

I am 71.

Yesterday is the first time a county government called to give warnings.

They called 3 times yesterday and the fourth call was at 5:30 a.m. this morning.

Progress !!!

Seems that emergency managers were on top of their game with their communication to the public…

These updates really help those of us not so affected understand the scale of these storms.

snow. And it's a lot too. Traffic in STLMO is pretty bought to a standstill by this storm. For those of you who still need to get to work, be extremely careful.

8 inches... but its hard to say because the wind blew so hard. At times I couldn't even see my neighbors house across the street. I figure we had a quarter to half inch of ice, freezing rain and sleep before the snow started. I got three alerts via my phone throughout the day.

One of the coolest things I just was at the right place at the right time was a joy to behold. Just after sunrise I had my face glued to the bedroom window. Watching the snow fall. I noticed movement and a bright splash of red hair. A FOX is literally prancing through my front yard! I watched him cross the street and play in the snow... kicking up his heels, rooting his nose in the snow and generally doing a happy dance. I was so entranced I did nt even think of trying to get a Pic. I'm hoping I see him again today.
