They are doing good work and they have a podcast from their long-form articles that is great. Privately funded so they are not subject to Trump and his ilk.

Don't believe I could get Mr. Progress to break his Prime addiction.

But haven’t ordered anything from Amazon since Election Day. I will go to a store before I buy from or eBay or second hand book sites.

None of our family are on Prime.

We are looking into Costco. Members get two cards.

And Penzeys! 🫚🌶️

We get several standard supplies there every couple of weeks and occasionally splurge on a seasonal item or two. Their travel discounts can save you some bucks as well.

Costco also has home delivery now. We have been very happy with Costco for a couple of decades.

And I cancelled my subscriptions for other products that I was buying regularly from Amazon.
My Prime membership doesn't renew until May, so I will probably leave it in place until expiration.

I never subscribed to WaPo. I kicked corporate McGreedia to the curb in 1984.

I want to buy a Costco membership, but I have too many expenses coming up ( house roof needing repairs or replacement, big tree that is too close to the house needing to be removed), so I just can't afford it, even though it is reasonably priced. I will get a membership, when I can afford it. Costco .

I cancelled my Comcast/ Xfinity account, and had Quantum Fiber installed instead. It saves me over $100.00 per month and seems to actually work faster than Comcast did.

I know that few companies are perfect, but I plan to hurt the ones who support Republicans as much as I can.

As Texas Paul pointed out, we can only vote in the midterms every 2 years, and in the national elections every 4 years, but we can vote with our $$$ every day. I plan to hurt Republicans and Republican supporting companies as much as I can.
Congrats to BoZarts and Dr. Z for kicking Bezos to the curb.

P. S. Any mistakes in my comments about Texas Paul are mine, not his. Please don't pile on me about how politics works or doesn't work in your area.

I love this point
