(18,216 posts)narrow, twisty, windy roads. At some points, the white line at the shoulder denotes the drop-off cliff. Since these cars are too wide and vision impeded to calculate where your wheels are, the guy had no side reference. He was driving like a frightened little mouse.

(18,216 posts)dozens and dozens of sports cars everything from oil shiek exotic to vintage Saabs and MGs and Corvettes. Group after group after group of these neat cars all negotiating the roads, one after the other. Not racing or hot-dogging, just out together, enjoying the New Years Day and bringing a smile to my face.

(36,103 posts)Never rode in one though.
A friend in college had one. I swapped the radio out for him. It had a nice one, not the raw neighborhood shaking amperage he wanted, though. I think they put them in once they got to the States. I kept it and put it in my Cutlass.
Yugos had the heads welded to the block. No fixing that! They were like disposable cars.

They draw enough attention, that other drivers are finding it a hazard to decent driving, due to the looks (glares) they get.
Pretty spooky, since you can't see a driver, and with Tesla's weird habit of going out-of-control in driverless mode, people are generally
distressed when one of these are close, (read: within sight).
