Does anyone have a contact for Ann ? Would love to discuss with her the possibility of partnering with her to publish her cartoons exclusively on @bluesky

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.
He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.
Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

(2,214 posts)that we make them heros when they do. And Cuban may prove to be a hero. But let's not count the power to throw your ample money around above people who have moved up the ranks of politics doing similarly heroic things every day for decades.
Yes, we need liberal billionaires. May they do what we need liberal billionaires to do: buy important media outlets and support our experienced politicians and organizations who relying on funding.
It reminds me of Tom Steyer in 2020. It seemed like he was a great philanthropist doing good until he used his notoriety to run for president. Bloomberg too. Bloomberg bought the NYC Mayoral election away from the amazing Mark Greene with his (Bloomberg's) donations to charities and unprecedented campaign spending, and we got Stop and Frisk. Then he decided to call himself a Democrat.
Are they in it for us or for themselve?

(10,037 posts)I would like to see Mark Cuban continue to do for us what they always thought that George Soros was doing (but actually wasn't).
