Last night I caught about five minutes of Chris Murphy

on All In on MSNBC. He about summed up my feelings. He said that the Dem Party is not fighting hard enough and even not "working" hard enough to counter the Repugs. They are not hitting the atrocious nominees hard enough. He said it's not enough to say something negative once a week. The message needs to be all day, every day, or they are going to take away the rule of law and our safety net.

Sorry, I know this isn't a cheery message, but I'm glad someone seems to get it.

Today's media is complicit in keeping Democratic voices from being heard, and Democrats have tuned politics out. ( including me)

of wishy washy messaging from our side. Many Dems will reengage when/if they hear a strong message.

...and Americans still chose to believe the lies peddled by Republicans propagandists because our news is dominated by heavily Republican-slanted outlets and """both sides""" types that put Republican lies on equal footing with Democratic truths.

Look at all the owners of major media that have were cozying up to Trump both before and especially after the election. Look at the anti-Trump stories, op-eds, endorsements, etc. that were prevented from being run by their wealthy owners. Democrats can't out-message their way out of that. It is going to take a lot more than a simple explanation like that.

I don't know what the answer is to winning at a rigged game, but a good start would be for Democrats to start fighting back against Republican propaganda and pushing Democratic messages and values rather than criticizing Democrats for not putting out a """strong message."""

They need to be on ALL of it all the time. They DESPERATELY need a COORDINATED slamming message day in and day out - using phrases like “billionaire robber barons”, etc.

He’s right that if they do NOT, they will become a permanent minority party.

they don’t get on this - or hire someone @ DNC to coordinate it all with Democrats in and outside of Washington. Get the loudest most known faces and voices out there on multiple platforms every day with coordinated messaging.

…have YouTube channels, podcasts, social media accounts to post memes and phrases about the subjects of the week (daily) and then ALL DEMOCRATS parrot them everywhere,, including on the house and senate floors.

IT’S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.
