Spending your mental energy being outraged or anxious about what Trump says does nothing for you or the causes that you believe in. Yes, things will get bad for many, many people, but people have to go through this in order to learn because arguing with them does not work.

In the end, Trump is nothing more than an echo of the past. It's time to focus on finding NEW Democratic leaders who will be burdened with steering the nation through the post-MAGA world. There are elections this year and next where we can find such leaders. We need leaders who have a bold vision for our future, that can communicate effectively, that won't be beholden to what was done in the past, that won't be beholden to corporate influence.

That's where our focus needs to be.

1. Definitely. A positive inclusive bright future is so near. But rights must be defended now and forever

Though the future is bright (truly), there are many forces in that future that darken it and many of them have nothing to do with politics until somebody injects politics: weather events, pandemics, loss of species, climate change, technology backfires (AI possibly), ... You know a lot of the list. But, humanity can overcome it all if we work together.

Use our shared vision of the future to help dropping emotions (which only cloud vision) so that we can preserve the base of human rights while building on it for what we as a species can accomplish in the future.
