Trump would appeal probation to the SCOTUS because he could claim it "interferes with POTUS duties". I think the fine will be hefty in lieu of probation.

If that's the case, then no fine, no jail time, no sanctions or punishment of any kind. Case is done and over with zero consequences beyond the conviction.

He's going to appeal to remove his record of being a convicted felon.

Funny, isn't it? A President can't be sued or prosecuted while serving in office b/c it will distract him/her from presidential duties. BUT -- somehow if a sitting President wants to appeal a decision, judgment, conviction, s/he won't be distracted.

Maybe a sitting President should be precluded from all judicial distractions including appeals until out of office.

The Judge simply says, "why should he be sentenced? He was elected. The Law doesn't apply to him. Unlike you plebians, he can commit crimes without any accountability."
