DU has disappointed me yet again

This is where I go for my first dose of news each day, and this morning there are still no headlines about Trump's death.

Thanks for nothing, DU. See you tomorrow.

Every day, a man goes to the newsstand and pays for the paper. He looks at the front page then tosses it back down in disgust. After weeks of this behavior, the stand's owner asked the man, "Why do you do that every day?" "I'm looking for an obituary," said the man. "But the obits are in the second section," replied the owner. "The obituary I'm looking for will be on the front page!" declared the man.

My unanswered prayers were for some SC vacancies b4 Christmas too. So not much luck. Not wishing any to decease just not able to fulfil roles or w Execs to even be able to nominate cabinent nor take the oath. Whew at best going to be a bumpy 24-48 months.

After a time, the news stand attendant can't stand it, and asks the guy why he does that.

The guy answers, "I'm looking for an obituary."

The news stand attendant says "Those are on the last page."

The guy answers, "The one I'm looking for will be on the front page."

President Vance would be run by the same people who run President Trump, but the MAGA cult would dissolve, and that can only be a good thing.

So the first thing I do each morning upon awakening is check to see if that vile pig of a man is dead.

Have a good 2025, whatever that means!

At a party given by a billionaire on Shelter Island, Kurt Vonnegut informs his pal, Joseph Heller, that their host, a hedge fund manager, had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his wildly popular novel Catch-22 over its whole history.

Heller responds,“Yes, but I have something he will never have – ENOUGH.”

And he'll have help from the much younger Elon Musk in securing their oligarchy, until that ultimate lovers' quarrel, at an unknown point somewhere in the future.
